It's that time of year! The Christmas Race for Junior Club Members will start and finish at the Rugby Club. Please arrive by 11:00 at the latest for registration and warmup with the junior coaching team. The race itself will start promptly at 11:15.
The course route is 2k around the fields at the back of the Leisure Centre, the course will be clearly marked out with marshals directing and giving lots of encouragement to our young runners. Its a race that anyone could win - graded times based on performances at junior parkrun etc means runners will start at different times with close finishes (almost) guaranteed. There is no session charge for this event.
The Senior race is also taking place on a different course around Market Harborough and we aim to all meet up in the club house for declaring the winners and awarding the trophies. The club will have a Christmas prize for every junior taking part!
As in previous years we are supporting, in conjunction with MHRUFC, the town's Jubilee Foodbank. If you are running please can you bring along a suitable doination that will be much appreciated by those in need this Christmas. The priorities are:
UHT milk (semi-skimmed or whole)
Tinned potatoes
Cartons of long life fruit juice
Small jars coffee
Small packets sugar
Packets of cream crackers
Microwave sponge puddings
Fray bentos pies
Tinned carrots
Hot chocolate
Tinned chicken in sauce
Biscuits
