Quadkids Athletics is a fantastic opportunity for young children to participate in and enjoy the fundamentals of Run, Throw & Jump. The Leicestershire County Quadkids League will take place at the Nuneaton AC Pingles Stadium, a brilliant venue with a 8 lane, 400m floodlit all weather running track & clubhouse.
Open to all junior club members in primary school years 3/4/5/6 with a maximum age of 11 years. Entry registration for the event will be paid for by the club.
Each young athlete competes in 4 events:
- Sprint 50m/75m
- Middle Distance 400m/600m
- Long Jump
- Howler Javelin Throw
Just like the pentathlon or decathlon, the times and distances achieved are converted into points to determine places and team scores
The evening event starts at 18:15 prompt so athletes will need to be at the stadium for 17:45 to collect numbers and get warmed up ready for their first event.
It is a team based competition which is a great opportunity to represent Harborough AC Juniors at interclub level and achieve some great results.
