It's that time of year! The Christmas Race takes place starting at the Rugby Cub, 11 am sharp for the start. Arrive by 10.45 at the latest to register and warm up.
Approximately 4k round the Southern Estate it's a race any one could win. Graded times based on performances in the autumn Memorial Run, parkrun etc means runners will start at different times with close finishes (almost) guaranteed. No session charge for this event.
The junior race is also taking place on a different course round the fields and we aim to all meet up in the club house for declaring the winners and awarding the trophies.
Anyone who isn't running but who would like to help please the sperate volunteers session on ClubPal.
As in previous years we are supporting, in conjunction with MHRUFC, the town's Jubilee Foodbank. If you are running please can you bring along a suitable doination that will be much appreciated by those in need this Christmas. The priorities are:
UHT milk (semi-skimmed or whole)
Tinned potatoes
Cartons of long life fruit juice
Small jars coffee
Small packets sugar
Packets of cream crackers
Microwave sponge puddings
Fray bentos pies
Tinned carrots
Hot chocolate
Tinned chicken in sauce
Biscuits
