Senior Christmas Handicap - 18/12/2021 Overview

This year, our traditional Christmas Handicap will be made up of a junior race covering 2k and a senior race over 5k on two different courses starting from the Rugby Club. Handicappers will start at different times based on approximate 5k times (seniors) or junior parkrun times, which means that anyone has a chance to win! And if you can’t run but can help we will need some marshals and help at the finish

This year instead of raffle presents, we are supporting a much-valued Harborough charity. Please bring an item of food to donate to the Jubilee Foodbank who support individuals and families in the town and district who are facing a food crisis. A representative of the Jubilee Foodbank is coming along to take our donations so they can put them to immediate and much needed use. We’ll be having a short group warm up from 10am with both junior and senior races both starting at 10.15am. We aim to meet up after the races at 11.00am in the club house for refreshments and presentations. Please bring a mince pie or two or something similar for a post-race snack.
