CPR saves lives in the event of cardiac arrest and is a technique anyone can learn.
Jon Frost from the British Heart Foundation has kindly offered to run a training session for club members, parents and family members (16+) to teach us how to react to an arrest and perform CPR correctly and effectively. He will also cover different types of heart disease and talk about prevention/managing your risk.
The session will be held at MHRUFC starting at 7pm and finishing at 8pm. The idea has been inspired by the new “Voices” section on the club website and is introduced by Bill Kerr and Howard Crabtree as a result of their own personal experiences.
Suitable for those who have never received training in CPR before or want a refresher.
It will be fun, informative and very practical. And it could just save a life.
The session is free.
