Membership of the club is contingent on paying the membership fee and continued membership on payment of the annual membership fee due on 1 September each year. Joining part way through the year will require the registration fee to England Athletics to be paid in full: the club annual membership fee will be calculated pro rata on the number of days remaining until the end of the membership year on 31 August. The club makes a small charge for most training sessions which members agree to pay if attending.
By becoming a member, athletes agree to follow the rules of the club, refrain from actions which may bring the club into disrepute and adhere to the rules of the sport’s governing body including those rules related to the use of performance enhancing and recreational drugs.
By becoming a member/renewing your membership to Harborough AC I have read and agree to accept the UKA/England Athletics Code of Conduct relevant to my membership package. The Code of Conduct can be found here.
Club colours must be worn in all events where a member competes as a representative of the club.
The management committee has the power to suspend temporarily from membership any member accused of misconduct or abuse pending further investigation or enquiries. Following the completion of any such investigation the Committee may take appropriate action up to and including termination of membership.
Resignation from the club must be submitted in writing to the Membership Secretary.
