Junior Athletes aged 8-14: Membership of the club is contingent on paying the membership fee. Membership is on a year-by-year basis and junior athletes must renew their membership by 15 September each year. Re-joining is not guaranteed and will be subject to i) the waiting list for junior members and ii) attendance, performance, and behaviour during the previous year. Parents must complete the joining process for junior athletes. At the age of 11+ members are also registered with England Athletics and the membership fee incorporates this.
Junior Athletes aged 14-18: Membership of the club is contingent on paying the membership fee and continued membership on payment of the annual membership fee due on 1 September each year. Joining part way through the year will require the registration fee to England Athletics to be paid in full: the club annual membership fee will be calculated pro rata on the number of days remaining until the end of the membership year on 31 August. Resignation from the club must be submitted in writing to the Membership Secretary.
All: The club makes a small charge for most training sessions which members agree to pay if attending.

By becoming a member, athletes agree to follow the rules of the club and instructions from their adult club coaches and abide by the rules of the national governing body including those rules relating to the use of performance enhancing and recreational drugs. The Committee has the authority to take action against members breaching the rules which may include termination of membership.
By becoming a member/renewing a membership to Harborough AC I have read and agree to accept the UKA/England Athletics Code of Conduct relevant to my son's / daughter's membership package found here and the Code of Conduct for parents and carers found here.
Club colours must be worn in all events where a member competes as a representative of the club.
I agree to my son / daughter / child in my care taking part in the activities of Harborough Athletics club. I understand that in the event of an emergency all reasonable steps will be taken to contact me and I consent to first aid being administered to deal with that medical emergency appropriately.

Health Declaration - Juniors
If I have any doubts about my child engaging in physical activity/training programmes I will consult their GP/doctor or other suitable medical practitioner before starting.
If my child’s health or physical condition changes during my membership I will seek advice from their GP/doctor or other suitable medical practitioner before continuing.
I will advise, as necessary, the Membership Secretary of the club of any relevant health condition as it relates to my child’s ability to participate in club activities.
I understand that in becoming/continuing to be a member my child will take part in a programme of physical activity entirely at their own risk and I absolve Harborough AC of any liability in relation to my child’s fitness to participate in such a programme.
