Junior – Miller Crane

Miller joined the club in February this year and from the outset has shown real enthusiasm for his running. Good attendance at training both on a Monday and at Saturday track sessions

Miller has participated in Quadkids x 2 in multi disciplines events and was selected to represent the club at Heart of England x 2 fixtures– achieved 1st place in the U11 Male 75m race in 13.1 and 3rd place in the Howler. Is finding his potential as a sprinter as he grows in confidence and technique. Has a great attitude in training and really wants to perform well.

Senior – Jill Roginski and Adam Barber

Jill achieved x2 4th placings in the GB vest at the World Masters Championships in the W60 pentathlon and the W60 80m hurdles.

Adam made his debut in the UK Championships finishing 13th in the U20 3000m and followed this up with 8th position in the same event in the English Schools final representing Leicestershire

Two exceptional sets of performances at championship level, which deserves an exceptional double award on this occasion.
